We are currently accepting applications for the following grants:
1] Arts and Culture Grant Program
The Musagetes Fund supports arts and culture grant programs in our community. Applications are now being accepted for this program which will fund up to a total of $34,000 in grants in our community. To determine if you are eligible to apply, please download the guidelines and application below.
Grant application deadline...
June 30, 2010 - Application acceptance now closed. Organizations that applied will be contacted in late September as to the status of their application.

2] Building Vital Communities Community Grant Program
The Guelph Community Foundation invites requests for funding from charitable organizations working in learning and education, health & wellness, children & youth, social services, recreation, arts and culture, and the environment for projects and initiatives that strengthen the development of a vital and healthy community.
This year's granting program will provide up to a total of $20,000 in grants. The Foundation is seeking innovative, collaborative and practical strategies to respond to pressing needs and emerging opportunities. Potential areas of focus might include, but are not limited to issues related to a growing gap between rich and poor such as: economic security, income security, food security, housing, employment readiness, etc.. The GCF is interested in initiatives that build and inspire, especially if they:
-address root causes;
-fill a gap or meet a need in the community;
-promote collaboration & sharing among agencies to reduce duplication of services;
-strengthen organizational capacity.

Your organization should verify that it qualifies for the grant program prior to submitting an application. We ask that you carefully reveiw our Grant Application Guidelines and if you would like to discuss your project before completing an application, please contact our office.
To apply for a grant...
Download, complete and send us a grant application. To receive the form by mail, please contact us. The application must be received by the deadline date listed on each grant program below.
Electronic submission:
If you would like to submit an application by email, please send it to guelphcf@bellnet.ca. Within a few days you must receive a verification that it has been received, if you do not receive this verification, please contact our office.
